Resilient Infrastructure Discussion During Climate Week
Join the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) on September 24th to hear insightful discussion on how resilience is shaping infrastructure both today and in the future.
ASCE’s 2025 Report Card for America’s Infrastructure highlighted ongoing improvements to the U.S. infrastructure network though critical needs across funding, policy, and engagement from stakeholders. ASCE’s Resilience Forum will elevate approaches to addressing America’s infrastructure challenges through policy, technology, and planning, advancing hazard mitigation in the built environment. The forum is occurring during New York City Climate Week and will provide key insights on strategic resilience planning, policy and regulatory effectiveness, and community and decision-making empowerment. In February, ASCE and Bentley co-authored a report, Built to Endure offering practical, proven guidance to states and localities to promote resilient infrastructure. Core actions in the guidebook will align with the event’s panel topics.
The forum is scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, September 24th at WSP’s offices (Penn 1, 250 W 34th St., New York, NY 10119). Doors open at 12:15pm with a light networking lunch provided. Programming will begin promptly at 1:00pm.
