On November 6, ASCE joined with airport leaders and experts to showcase the state of aviation infrastructure.
As a part of the Making the Grade webinar series, presenters shared key perspective on various criteria essential to airport facility performance including capacity, funding, and innovation.
Aviation was one of 18 categories graded in the 2025 Report Card for America’s Infrastructure receiving a “D+,” level with the 2021 report. While federal funding has advanced critical upgrades in recent years, airports continue to remain challenged by constraints in capacity, workforce, and facility maintenance.
Featured panelists were:
- Melissa Cooper, Kansas City Aviation
- Jason Terreri, Syracuse Hancock International Airport
- Juliette Peyroux, Magnusson Klemencic Associates
- David Sklar, WSP
